A blend of handpicked Ceylon black tea with organic cinnamon, cloves, and ginger, all sourced from the lush AMBA Estate gardens in the breath-taking Uva Highlands of Sri Lanka.

Each cup is beautifully balanced: the natural sweetness of cinnamon, the gentle warmth of ginger, and the bold kick of cloves come together in perfect harmony. The tea's malty undertones soothe the aromatic spices, leaving a silky-smooth, invigorating finish.

Whether you enjoy it with milk, a drizzle of honey, or just as it is, Sumudu Chai is here to bring comfort to busy days and cosy nights.

Infusion Recommendations:
This tea can be infused at least three times, with each infusion revealing deeper layers of flavour. For the best results, use water at 95-98°C and extend the steeping time slightly with each brew to enhance the richness of the tea. Passionate tea lovers may even discover further complexity with each infusion.

Also excellent cold brewed overnight by having 8-12g of tea in a 1 litre jug of water placed in the fridge over 15 hours. Adjust quantity to taste.

A lovely chai! Just the perfect amount of spice, this has been seeing me through my early mornings at work since I opened it! Been enjoying with or without milk, and with a little dollop of honey. Would definitely recommend!
